BJP Shopian Holds Membership Convention; Manzoor Bhat Highlights Modi’s Vision for ‘Viksit Bharat’

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District Shopian held a vibrant Active Membership Convention, with senior BJP leader Manzoor Bhat as the chief guest and District President Raja Waseem presiding over the event. The convention aimed to strengthen party membership and promote community engagement, reflecting the party’s mission of grassroots development.

Speaking at the gathering, Manzoor Bhat praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the transformative development in Jammu & Kashmir over the last decade. He reiterated the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’, a developed India that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with leading global economies.

 

“This vision focuses on reaching every individual, especially the last person in the queue, and ensuring no one is left behind in the development journey,” Bhat said.

🌾 Focus on Agriculture and Education:

Bhat spotlighted the significance of agriculture schemes in Shopian, a region known as Apple Valley for its high-quality horticulture produce. He urged farmers to make use of government initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and boosting exports.

In his address, he also underlined the importance of education and youth empowerment, encouraging parents to support their children in academics and co-curricular activities.

“Educated youth are the true ambassadors of our country’s future,” Bhat noted.

Boosting Party Membership and Participation:

The convention encouraged locals to actively participate in the BJP’s mission. New and existing members took a pledge to uphold the party’s constitution and contribute to national and regional progress.

District President Raja Waseem spoke about the BJP’s commitment to community upliftment, highlighting various welfare schemes and development initiatives that have positively impacted the region.

“The BJP stands for inclusive growth, and our goal is to serve every household with sincerity and dedication,” he said.
