
Srinagar Tulip Garden Breaks Visitor Record in Just 15 Days During Tulip Show 2025

In a remarkable feat, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar has broken its previous footfall record in just 15 days of the ongoing Tulip Show 2025, attracting unprecedented numbers of visitors from India and abroad.
Surpassing last year’s all-time high of 4,46,154 visitors, this year’s edition of the show has already exceeded the milestone, setting the stage for a new record with several days of blooming beauty still ahead.
Nestled in the foothills of the Zabarwan Range, overlooking the iconic Dal Lake, the garden is celebrated as Asia’s largest tulip garden and holds a prestigious place in the World Book of Records. In 2025, it boasts a spectacular bloom of 1.7 million tulip bulbs across 74 unique varieties, transforming the landscape into a paradise of colors.
The early success of this year’s show is being hailed as a major boost to Kashmir’s tourism sector, with stakeholders celebrating the garden’s growing international acclaim.
