Gulmarg, April 12 —
MLA Farooq Ahmad Shah conducted a comprehensive visit to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Kunzer to assess the healthcare services being provided to the public. During the inspection, he interacted with medical staff and emphasized the importance of delivering efficient, accessible, and patient-friendly healthcare to the local population.

He directed the medical team to maintain high standards of service, ensuring that all basic health facilities are readily available to the people of the region.

🌱 Support to Farmers Through Seed Distribution

Later in the day, the MLA launched a vegetable seedling distribution drive covering Karhama, Kunzer, and Lalpora. This initiative aims to boost local agriculture and enhance crop productivity in the constituency. Local farmer groups, who received the seedlings, expressed satisfaction with the continued support from the agriculture and allied departments.

They lauded the administration’s efforts in promoting sustainable agriculture and ensuring direct benefit to grassroots farming communities.

Addressing the public during the visit, Farooq Ahmad Shah urged agricultural field staff to maintain close coordination with farmers, providing them both technical advice and on-ground support. He stressed the need for launching more farmer-friendly and sustainable programs in the future.

“I am fully committed to the all-round development of the Gulmarg constituency — with a special focus on better healthcare delivery and the upliftment of our farmers,” the MLA said.
