Pak’s Claim of Destroying India’s S-400 Missile System Completely Baseless: Indian Military

New Delhi, May 10 (RNA KASHMIR):
The Indian military on Saturday refuted Pakistan’s claim that its JF-17 fighter jets had successfully used hypersonic missiles to destroy India’s S-400 air defence system in Adampur, Punjab, terming the allegation as “completely false.”
The clarification comes after Pakistan’s state-run broadcaster PTV and China’s Global Times, quoting Xinhua, reported that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) had struck India’s strategic S-400 system.
However, the Indian Air Force (IAF) swiftly dismissed these reports, labeling them as fabricated and misleading.
“The claims being circulated regarding the destruction of India’s S-400 system are baseless and not supported by any evidence,” said an IAF spokesperson.
The S-400, a state-of-the-art long-range surface-to-air missile system, is a crucial component of India’s defense architecture.
This rebuttal follows heightened tensions at the border and a recent wave of misinformation aimed at triggering psychological warfare.
