
Stray Dog Attack in Dardpora Kreeri Leaves Three Injured, One Shifted to Srinagar
Kreeri, May 10 (RNA KASHMIR):
Three residents of Dardpora village in Kreeri, Baramulla district, sustained injuries in a stray dog attack on Friday evening, sparking panic among villagers.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke to Regional News Agency (RNA), a group of stray dogs suddenly appeared and began attacking locals indiscriminately.
The injured have been identified as Shakir Shabir (son of Shabir Ahmad Khan), Tanishpal Singh (son of Ravinderpal Singh), and Fancy Begum — all residents of Dardpora Kreeri.
They were immediately rushed to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kreeri for treatment. However, one of the victims, reportedly in critical condition, was referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced medical care.
A medical officer at SDH Kreeri confirmed that one patient with severe injuries has been shifted to Srinagar for further treatment.
Following the incident, residents urged authorities to take immediate steps to control the stray dog population in the area to prevent such attacks in the future.
