
Missile-Like Object Crashes Into Dal Lake, Loud Explosions Heard in Srinagar

Panic gripped parts of Srinagar on Saturday after a missile-like object reportedly crashed into the iconic Dal Lake, triggering loud explosions and raising alarms across the city.
According to eyewitnesses, the unidentified object plunged into the lake with a deafening blast, sending shockwaves through nearby localities. The impact caused visible disturbances in the water body and allegedly damaged aquatic life.
Security forces swiftly responded to the scene and cordoned off the area. Debris from the object has been recovered and is currently under forensic and technical investigation, officials confirmed.
While the exact nature of the object is yet to be verified, preliminary reports suggest it might be a drone or missile-like aerial device, possibly linked to the heightened security tensions in the region.
Authorities have appealed to the public to remain calm while further details are being examined. No civilian injuries have been reported as of now.
