Jammu Schools and Colleges to Remain Closed on May 13 Due to Prevailing Situation

Jammu, May 12, 2025 – All schools, colleges, and other educational institutions (both private and government) within the Jammu province, with the exception of medical colleges, will remain closed tomorrow, May 13th. This announcement was made today by the Divisional Commissioner Jammu via their official social media channel, citing the “prevailing situation” as the reason for the closure.

The order specifically excludes medical colleges, which are expected to function as usual. Students and parents are advised to take note of this announcement. Further updates will be provided as the situation evolves.
