
Northern Army Commander Briefs LG Manoj Sinha on Security Situation in J&K
Srinagar, May 14 (RNA):
Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, the newly appointed General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) Northern Command, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday to discuss the latest security developments in Jammu and Kashmir.
Lt Gen Sharma was accompanied by Lieutenant General Prashant Srivastava, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps. During the meeting, the senior army officials briefed the LG on various aspects related to the prevailing security scenario, operational readiness, and overall situation along the Line of Control (LoC) and other sensitive areas.
The Lieutenant Governor appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army in maintaining peace and stability in the Union Territory and emphasized continued coordination between civil administration and security agencies.
