The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered a significant reshuffle within its Forest, Ecology, and Environment Department, transferring several Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers with immediate effect.

According to Government Order No: 97-JK(FST) of 2025, dated 15.05.2025, issued by the Civil Secretariat, J&K, the following transfers and postings have been made:

  1. Mr. Sarvesh Rai, IFS (AGMUT:1991), Chief Wildlife Warden, J&K, will hold the additional charge of the post of Director, Forest Protection Force, J&K, in addition to his own duties.
  2. Mr. T. Rabi Kumar, IFS (AGMUT:1995), CEO, CAMPA, J&K, will also hold the additional charge of CCF (Planning and Projects).
  3. Mr. Sandeep Kujur, IFS (AGMUT:1998), Director, Forest Protection Force, J&K, is transferred and posted as Director, Social Forestry, J&K, holding the additional charge of Director, Soil & Water Conservation, J&K.

  9. Dr. Syed Nadeem Hussain, IFS (AGMUT:2009), Regional Director, Social Forestry, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Conservator of Forests, South Circle, Kashmir, also holding the additional charge of Joint Director, Soil & Water Conservation, Jammu.
  10. Dr. Arshdeep Singh, IFS (AGMUT:2012), Conservator of Forests, South Circle, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Conservator of Forests, Chenab Circle.
  11. Mr. Navneet Singh, IFS (AGMUT:2016), DFO Udhampur Forest Division, is transferred and posted as Regional Director, DEERS, Jammu.
  12. Mr. Suresh Manda, IFS (AGMUT:2016), DFO Jammu Forest Division, is transferred and posted as Chief General Manager, JKFCL (P&P).
