MLAs Shakti Raj Parihar and Balwant Singh Mankotia Meet LG Manoj Sinha; Raise Key Constituency Issues
SRINAGAR, MAY 16:
Shri Shakti Raj Parihar, Member of Legislative Assembly from Doda West, and Shri Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA from Chenani, called on Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today in Srinagar.
During the meeting, the legislators submitted a detailed representation highlighting the pressing issues in their constituencies. The discussion prominently included the welfare and rehabilitation of families affected by unprovoked cross-border firing from Pakistan, and the strengthening of Village Defence Groups (VDGs) to enhance local security and resilience.
Both MLAs also apprised the Lt Governor of various developmental needs, infrastructure gaps, and public welfare concerns specific to Doda West and Chenani constituencies, seeking proactive government intervention and support.
The Lt Governor gave a patient hearing to the concerns raised and assured appropriate action for their redressal.
