Srinagar, June 13: In preparation for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a high-level security review meeting with top officials from civil, police, army, and intelligence agencies. The session focused on ensuring a robust and foolproof security plan for the upcoming pilgrimage. Emphasizing coordinated efforts, the LG called for seamless synergy among the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board, police forces, Army, CAPFs, and civil administration. Key discussions included the security grid’s functioning, contingency plans, deployment logistics, and readiness of line departments. Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari, CEO of the Shrine Board, briefed attendees on the progress made in improving pilgrim services and infrastructure. The Lieutenant Governor reiterated the administration’s commitment to providing a safe, smooth, and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage for all devotees.
