SRINAGAR, JUNE 18: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has nominated Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary and Rahul Yadav, both senior and experienced officers, as Nodal Officers for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025. The appointment aims to ensure seamless coordination, management, and facilitation of the yatra, which draws lakhs of pilgrims annually from across the country.
The decision reflects the administration’s commitment to enhancing pilgrim safety, logistical arrangements, and inter-departmental coordination for this significant religious event. With their prior experience in public administration and handling major assignments, both officers are expected to play a critical role in delivering a well-managed and secure yatra season.
