Baramulla, April 12:
The festival of Baisakhi was observed with deep religious enthusiasm across Baramulla district on Saturday. The central celebration was held at Gurudwara Chatti Padshahi, where a large gathering of Sikh devotees participated in prayer services, soul-stirring Kirtan, and the community Langer.
Officials from the district administration, local police, and the Indian Army also marked their presence at the Gurudwara, standing in solidarity with the Sikh community and reinforcing the message of communal unity and mutual respect.
Festive gatherings and religious ceremonies were similarly held at various other Gurudwaras located in Sikh-populated areas of the district, including Panzala, Rafiabad, Dardpora Kreeri, Shrakwara Wagoora, Singhpora Kalan, among others. These celebrations reflected a vibrant display of tradition, togetherness, and faith.
