Chinabal, Pattan – North Kashmir | May 11, 2025:
In a heartfelt act of solidarity, the All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association, under the leadership of its president Molvi Imran Reza Ansari, organized a significant blood donation drive in Chinabal, Pattan. The initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir, aimed to provide critical support to those injured in recent conflicts, including members of the Indian security forces.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation, with around 70 pints of blood donated by young volunteers who came forward with a spirit of selflessness and national duty. The event was efficiently coordinated by Molvi Syed Taib, Abbas, and other key members of the association.

While speaking to the media, Molvi Imran Ansari emphasized the enduring role of Shia Muslims in standing by the nation during testing times.
“Imam Hussain (A.S.) taught us the true essence of sacrifice and justice. Inspired by his legacy, we are committed to supporting our nation and its defenders. My family has always stood for the nation and will continue to do so,” he affirmed.

In a humanitarian gesture, Molvi Imran Ansari also announced that all Imam Bargahs and Madrassas affiliated with the association would be opened to provide shelter for families affected by the current conflict. Already, 15 families have reached out and have been accommodated, with more expected in the coming days.

This marks the first such coordinated religious response in the region from a prominent Islamic scholar, aimed at providing both material and emotional support to those in need. Molvi Imran reaffirmed that this is only the beginning of a broader support mission.

“As followers of the Ahlul Bayt (A.S.), we are committed to serving humanity, especially in times of distress. It’s not just our responsibility—it defines who we are,” he concluded.
