
DC Bandipora Reviews Yatra 2025 Readiness; Inspects Transit Camp at Shadipora.

In a bid to ensure smooth and secure arrangements for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, chaired a detailed review meeting with senior officials at the office of the Executive Engineer, Mechanical Irrigation Division, Shadipora.
The meeting focused on key aspects such as transport logistics, medical care, sanitation, drinking water, traffic management, and overall security arrangements along the Yatra route. The DC emphasized early preparedness, urging all departments to work in close coordination and ensure resources, equipment, manpower, and contingency plans are in place well before the Yatra commences.
Highlighting the importance of a safe and seamless pilgrimage, the DC reiterated the district administration’s commitment to creating a devotee-centric and spiritually enriching experience.
Following the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner conducted an on-site inspection of the Shadipora Transit Camp, one of the critical infrastructure points for Yatra pilgrims. He directed the concerned departments to expedite pending worksand improve amenities for pilgrims expected to transit through the facility.
The review was attended by senior officers including ADC Zaffar Husson Shawl, Commandant 45 BN CRPF, SDM Sumbal, officials from NH-1, Health, PDD, R&B, PHE, and others. Deputy CEO, Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SANJY) participated in the discussions virtually.
This proactive approach reflects the administration’s focus on delivering a safe, efficient, and well-organized Yatra for thousands of pilgrims expected in 2025.
