DC Kupwara Conducts Inspection of NEET 2025 Exam Centres to Ensure Smooth Conduct

Kupwara, May 4 (RNA):
To ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of the NEET (UG) 2025 examination, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan, conducted a detailed inspection of various designated exam centres across the district today.

The Deputy Commissioner assessed the preparedness and arrangements in place at the centres. She interacted with the centre Principals, deployed magistrates, and security personnel, stressing strict compliance with examination guidelines. A special visit was made to the control room set up for real-time monitoring and coordination during the exam process.

Among the centres inspected were Government Degree College Kupwara, Government Higher Secondary School Handwara, and others. She was joined by ADC Handwara, Javaid Naseem Masoodi, who also reviewed arrangements at the venues. The DC expressed satisfaction with the management and coordination witnessed at the centres.

In line with the DC’s directions, ACR Kupwara, Mumtaz Ahmad, visited all five NEET exam centres in the district to oversee the situation and ensure effective implementation of protocols.

This year, five NEET centres were operational in Kupwara district. Out of 2,159 registered candidates, 2,100 appearedfor the exam, while 59 remained absent.

The District Administration reiterated its commitment to providing a secure, fair, and well-coordinated environment for candidates in collaboration with all concerned departments.
