DTO Bandipora Hosts Training on ‘Pension Suvidha’ Portal for Streamlined Pension Processing.

In a significant move towards strengthening digital governance, the District Treasury Office (DTO) Bandipora organized an intensive training session on the newly launched ‘Pension Suvidha’ portal for Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) at the Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat. The session, held under the directions of the Director General Accounts & Treasuries, J&K, aimed to equip officers with the knowledge and tools required to process pension cases electronically. Chaired by District Treasury Officer Sheikh Abid Manzoor, the program highlighted the key features, login processes, document uploads, digital verification steps, and submission protocols of the portal. The DTO emphasized the importance of timely and error-free pension processing, stressing that the digital system would enhance transparency, speed, and efficiency for both the departments and retiring employees. He assured participants that follow-up training sessions will be organized to resolve technical challenges and ensure smooth adoption of the new platform across government offices in the district.
