
GHSS Gandoh Felicitates Class 10th & 12th Toppers in Grand Ceremony

In a heartwarming celebration of academic excellence, the Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Gandoh hosted a grand felicitation ceremony to honour the meritorious students of Class 10th and 12th, along with their proud parents.
The event, held in the school premises, witnessed Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Arun Badyal as the Chief Guest, who lauded the students for their hard work, discipline, and consistent performance. Students who achieved distinctions and first divisions in the recently declared board results were presented with appreciation certificates and mementos as a token of recognition and encouragement.
Vibrant Cultural Performances & Community Participation
Adding colour to the occasion, students and faculty presented cultural performances that reflected the vibrant spirit of the school community. The event saw active participation from parents, teachers, and local dignitaries, turning the ceremony into a community-wide celebration of educational success.
Principal Highlights Infrastructure Challenges
Welcoming the dignitaries, Principal Mohammad Ayub Sheikh thanked the guests and highlighted key infrastructure needs of the school. He appealed for the transfer of adjacent Health Department land to the Education Department to facilitate the construction of a dedicated school building, stressing the need for better space to accommodate rising student enrollment.
The proceedings of the event were smoothly anchored by Pardeep Kumar, Senior Lecturer (Urdu), who kept the audience engaged throughout the program.
