Govt Cancels All Deployments and Transfers of JAEOs and AEOs in Agriculture Department Across Kashmir

Srinagar, May 2 (RNA):
The Government has ordered the immediate cancellation of all deployments and transfer orders pertaining to Junior Agriculture Extension Officers (JAEOs) and Agriculture Extension Assistant(AEAs) across the Kashmir Division.

As per the order, issued in line with the instructions from the Agriculture Production Department, all transfer and deployment orders issued by the Directorate or its subordinate offices involving JAEOs and AEAs—whether accompanied with posts or deployed to other offices—stand revoked with immediate effect.

The order directs that all affected officials must consider themselves relieved from their current postings and are instructed to report back to their substantive (original) places of posting on or before May 3, 2025.

“All concerned officers are hereby directed to ensure strict compliance with this order. They must submit detailed reports of such deployments/transfers along with confirmation that the respective officials have joined duties at their original postings without fail,” the directive stated.

The government has also warned of disciplinary action against any officer or official found violating the order. A copy of the order lies with RNA.
