Haj Flights Scheduled for May 7th and 8th Cancelled by Jammu & Kashmir Haj Committee

Srinagar, India – The Jammu & Kashmir Haj Committee has announced the cancellation of two upcoming Haj flights. According to a notification released on May 7th, 2025, Flight No. SG-5207, originally scheduled for  (07-05-2025), and Flight No. SG-5208, scheduled for (08-05-2025), have been cancelled due to the prevailing situation.

The announcement, issued by the Executive Officer, Dr. Shujaat Ahmad Qureshi (JKAS), informs concerned Haj pilgrims of this development. The notification assures that the revised flight schedule will be communicated to the pilgrims accordingly.

The reason for the cancellation, cited as the “Prevailing Situation,” was not specified in further detail in the notification. Pilgrims are advised to await further communication from the Haj Committee regarding the rescheduling of their flights.
