HKM College Bandipora took a strong stand against ragging by organizing a Placard Rally under the guidance of Dr. Wasia Hamid, Convener of the College Anti-Ragging Committee. The event was held within the college premises and witnessed overwhelming participation from students and faculty members.

The rally, which started from the college’s main gate and passed through various departments before concluding at the central courtyard, featured students holding impactful placards with messages like “Say No to Ragging,” “Ragging is a Crime,” and “Let Freshers Feel at Home.”

The event highlighted the college’s zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and encouraged all students to contribute to a healthy and inclusive environment.

Beyond just visual protest, the rally is a part of a broader campaign that includes upcoming interactive sessions, legal awareness workshops, and peer support activities focused on anti-ragging measures.

The event concluded with a pledge ceremony, where students vowed to stand against ragging and support any student who may be affected by it. The initiative was widely appreciated and marked a positive step toward ensuring a safe academic atmosphere at HKM College.
