
India, Pakistan DGsMO Hold Talks to Reinforce Ceasefire, Discuss Troop Reduction

Srinagar, May 1 ( RNA): In a significant development aimed at de-escalating border tensions, the Directors General of Military Operations (DGsMO) of India and Pakistan held a high-level conversation at 5:00 PM on Monday. The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to uphold the ceasefire agreement and ensure that no shots are fired or aggressive actions initiated along the Line of Control (LoC) and other sensitive sectors.
According to Official sources, the DGsMO-level talks focused on maintaining peace and stability along the border regions. Both sides agreed to consider immediate measures to reduce the presence of troops from forward areas, marking a step towards confidence-building and conflict de-escalation. RNA
