Jammu-Srinagar National Highway Blocked at Marog Due to Road Collapse, Restoration Underway

Jammu, May 11 (RNA): The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) has been blocked at Marog following a road collapse, causing complete suspension of traffic movement on the vital route.

As per official sources, restoration work is currently underway, and commuters have been advised to avoid travel on the highway until further notice. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is closely monitoring the situation, and a decision regarding the resumption of vehicular traffic will be taken tomorrow after technical clearance.

Authorities have urged the public to stay updated through official traffic advisories and not to undertake the journeyuntil the road is declared safe.
