Jammu, May 1:
Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Javed Ahmed Dar, extended warm greetings to the working class on the occasion of International Labour Day, acknowledging their crucial role in nation building.

In his message, Javed Dar paid rich tributes to the dedication and hard work of labourers, calling them the “strongest pillars of nation building.” He reiterated the government’s resolve to safeguard workers’ rights, enhance social security, and ensure fair and safe working conditions.

The Minister emphasized that the welfare of the working class is central to the government’s development agenda. “The government is committed to improving the lives of workers by ensuring fair wages, enhancing job security, and creating a conducive work environment that promotes productivity and dignity of labour,” he said.

He further highlighted key government initiatives aimed at empowering workers and promoting their well-being through welfare schemes, better workplace standards, and inclusive growth.
