J&K Bank Felicitates Young Entrepreneur Featured in PM’s Mudra Yojana Event

Srinagar, May 15
J&K Bank on Wednesday felicitated Mudasir Hussain Naqshbandi, a promising young entrepreneur and founder of M/s Bake My Cake, for his inspiring entrepreneurial journey. He recently represented the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and J&K Bank during a live interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the national event commemorating 10 years of the PM Mudra Yojana.

In recognition of his participation in this prestigious event, the Bank’s General Manager (CAM) Ashutosh Sareen, along with Zonal Head (Baramulla) Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat and Deputy General Manager Rakesh Magotra, presented a memento to Mudasir at the Bank’s Zonal Office in Baramulla. The felicitation ceremony was also attended by Cluster Heads Sheikh Mohammad Muzaffar and Abdul Majeed Bhat, among other senior officials.

Speaking on the occasion, GM Ashutosh Sareen said,

“Mudasir’s journey is a shining example of how a determined entrepreneur with vision can utilize timely credit to transform lives and inspire others. We at J&K Bank take great pride in having supported his rise and remain committed to empowering more such success stories across the region.”

Mudasir Naqshbandi had availed a Mudra loan of ₹3 lakh under J&K Bank’s Start-Up Scheme in January 2022. Through strategic use of this credit support, his business witnessed significant growth, expanding its workforce from 3 to over 40 employees in a short span.

His recognition at the national stage is a testimony to the potential of government-backed financial schemes and the impact of institutional support in nurturing young entrepreneurs in Jammu & Kashmir.
