Srinagar, May 7, 2025 – The Directorate of Horticulture Planning & Marketing, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, today issued an order regarding the transfer and posting of several employees within the department. Order No. 76-DHPM of 2025, dated 07-05-2025, was released citing “the interest of administration and smooth functioning of Government work” as the primary reason for the reshuffle.

The order details the immediate transfers and postings of ten officials, primarily Senior Assistants and Junior Assistants, across various Area Marketing Offices and the Direction Office in Rajbagh, Srinagar.

Key Transfers Include:

  • Mr. Rachhpal Singh, Senior Assistant from Area Marketing Officer Kathua, has been transferred and posted to Area Marketing Officer Udhampur.
  • Mr. Fayaz Ahmad, Senior Assistant from Area Marketing Office Kulgam, will now serve in the Area Marketing Office Shopian.
  • Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Senior Assistant previously at the Direction Office, has been posted to the Area Marketing Office Jammu.
  • Mr. Umar Jan Bhat, Junior Assistant from Area Marketing Office Ganderbal, has been moved to the Direction Office, Rajbagh Srinagar.
  • Mr. Ali Mohammad Dar, Junior Assistant from Area Marketing office Srinagar, will also now work in the Direction Office.
  • Mr. Nazir Ahmad Dar, Junior Assistant from Area Marketing Office Shopian, has been transferred to the Area Marketing Officer Kupwara.
  • Mr. Bilal Ahmad Sofi, Junior Assistant from Area Marketing Officer Baramulla, is now posted in the Area Marketing Officer Ganderbal.
  • Mr. Jagmohan Koul, I/c Junior Assistant from Area Marketing Officer Jammu, has been transferred to the Direction Office.
  • Mr. Mohan Lal, I/c Junior Assistant from Area Marketing Officer Udhampur, will now serve in the office of Assistant Grading and Marketing Officer Kathua.
  • Mr. Majid ullah Bhat, I/c Junior Assistant from Area Marketing Officer Bandipora, has been posted to the Area Marketing officer Baramulla.

The order, signed by Gh. Jeelani Zargar, JKAS, Director, Horticulture Planning & Marketing, has been circulated to the Deputy Directors of Horticulture Planning & Marketing in Kashmir, Jammu, and Delhi, as well as the concerned Area Marketing Officers, AGMOs, and the involved officials for immediate compliance.

This reshuffle is expected to bring about administrative efficiency and smoother operations within the Horticulture Planning & Marketing Department across the region.
