J&K IAS Officer Nitish Rajora Gets Additional Charge of Director, Defence Labour Procurement

Srinagar, May 7: In an administrative reshuffle, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has assigned additional charge to a serving IAS officer. According to Government Order No. 563-JK(GAD) of 2025, dated May 7, 2025, Mr. Nitish Rajora, IAS (AGMUT:2021), the current Director Information, J&K, will now also hold the charge of Director, Defence Labour Procurement, J&K.

The order, issued by the General Administration Department under the authority of the Lieutenant Governor, states that Mr. Rajora will hold this additional charge in addition to his existing responsibilities as Director Information, until further orders.

This development signifies an expansion of Mr. Rajora’s responsibilities within the Jammu and Kashmir administration.
