JKCSF Expresses Deep Shock Over Kupwara Bus Tragedy, Urges Immediate Relief Measures
Srinagar, April 13, 2025:
Chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the tragic bus accident that occurred in Vodhpora, Kupwara, resulting in the unfortunate deaths of two young girl students and injuries to several others.
In an official statement issued under reference number 755/JKCSF/2025, the Chairman said:
“I am deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic bus accident in Kupwara. My heartfelt condolences go out to the bereaved families. May Almighty Allah grant the departed souls the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give strength and patience to their loved ones to endure this immense loss.”
The JKCSF Chairman also prayed for the swift and full recovery of the injured students and staff members and urged the district administration to provide immediate medical attention and support to all those affected.
He further called upon the leadership of JKCSF and JKPUF to remain physically present on the ground, extend solidarity with the grieving families, and coordinate actively with the health and administrative departments to ensure timely and adequate treatment.
“This is not just a moment of grief but a time for collective action and support. I appeal to all concerned authorities and civil society members to rise to the occasion,” the Chairman added.
