
LG Manoj Sinha Meets Family of Martyr Syed Adil Hussain in Anantnag, Hands Over Job Letter to Widow.

Anantnag, June 14: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, today visited the grieving family of Late Shri Syed Adil Hussain Shah at his native village Haptnadh in Anantnag. In a heartfelt gesture, the LG handed over a government appointment letter to the martyr’s wife, Mst. Gulnaz Akhter, on compassionate grounds.
Syed Adil Hussain was among the 26 innocent civilians brutally killed by terrorists during the tragic Pahalgam attack. He is remembered for his courageous act of shielding tourists from gunfire during the incident on April 22.
Paying homage to the martyr, LG Sinha expressed deep sorrow and admiration, stating, “The entire nation salutes the bravery and sacrifice of Adil. This government job for his wife is a small token of our everlasting gratitude and a commitment to ensuring his family lives with dignity.”
He assured the bereaved family of continuous support from the administration and promised all necessary measures to help them rebuild their lives in honor of the fallen hero.
