Jammu | May 11, 2025:
Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, today honored the courage and sacrifice of Border Security Force (BSF) Sub Inspector Md. Imteyaz by laying a wreath and paying floral tributes in Jammu.

Sub Inspector Imteyaz was martyred following unprovoked firing from across the International Border by Pakistani forces in the R.S. Pura sector.

Expressing deep sorrow and pride, LG Manoj Sinha said, “I salute the supreme sacrifice of our BSF braveheart, Sub Inspector Md. Imteyaz. His unmatched courage and dedication to the motherland will always be remembered. The nation stands united in grief with the martyr’s family during this painful time.”

The solemn tribute ceremony reflected the unwavering commitment of the administration and the people of Jammu & Kashmir towards honoring their heroes who lay down their lives for national security.
