
NEET Exam 2025: KPDCL Cancels Power Shutdown for Bemina Lines on May 4 to Ensure Smooth Conduct
Srinagar, May 03 (RNA):
In light of the NEET (UG) 2025 examination scheduled for Sunday, May 4, the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has officially cancelled the earlier-approved power shutdown for the 33 KV Bemina I/II and Bemina Exhibition lines.
According to the statement issued by the Office of the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown planned under letter number CE/D/TS/18343-62/TS dated April 25, 2025, will not be implemented on May 4. The cancellation is intended to facilitate a smooth and uninterrupted conduct of the NEET exam across various designated centers in Kashmir.
Furthermore, any other power shutdowns approved earlier that coincide with the NEET exam date have also been revoked as a precautionary measure to support students and examination authorities.
