Pakistan Taught a Befitting Lesson, Says Tarun Chugh as J&K Reopens Tourist Spots.
📅 Jammu, June 17, 2025
In a bold statement today, BJP National General Secretary and J&K in-charge Tarun Chugh hailed the Modi government’s firm stand against Pakistan, declaring that a “befitting reply” had been delivered through Operation Sindoor and continued developmental strides in Jammu & Kashmir. Chugh praised Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s decision to reopen 16 out of 48 tourist spots in the region, which were temporarily shut following the Pahalgam terror attack. Calling the move a “symbol of resilience,” Chugh said that Pakistan’s attempts, orchestrated through its ISI-backed terror outfits, to sabotage peace and tourism in J&K have been decisively thwarted. He emphasized that India, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, is “responding with strength, not silence” and that the return of tourists to the valley stands as proof of growing public trust in the government’s security and development agenda. With the upcoming Amarnath Yatra expected to witness record participation, Chugh remarked that this pilgrimage would serve as “a powerful symbol of unity, faith, and defiance in the face of terror.” He concluded by stating that the people of Jammu & Kashmir are “moving forward with confidence,” and that no external force will be allowed to derail the region’s journey toward peace and prosperity.
