
PDP Holds Key Meeting in Budgam: Ghulam Nabi Hanjoora Calls for Public Outreach, Alam Stresses Fight Against Drug Menace
Budgam, April 6 – The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held an important constituency-level meeting today at the office of the District President in Budgam.
Chaired by senior PDP leader and Chairman of the Election Board, Ghulam Nabi Hanjoora, the session was held under the guidance of PDP General Secretary Mohammad Khurshid Alam.
The meeting focused on reinforcing the party’s grassroots presence and emphasized consistent public outreach. Hanjoora highlighted the need to remain closely connected with the people and address their concerns effectively.
Mohammad Khurshid Alam, while addressing the gathering, urged party cadres to play an active role in addressing social issues, particularly the rising drug menace in the region. He emphasized the party’s moral responsibility to engage with communities and offer solutions through awareness and support.
Prominent leaders in attendance included Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi, Arif Laigaroo, Mohammad Yaseen Bhat (District President Budgam), G. R. Malik (Zone President), Nawab ur Rehman, Abdul Lateef Bhat, Nazir Ahmad Bhat, Abdul Ahad Malik, and Syed Abdul Altaf.
