
Pratham Pujan Ceremony Held in Jammu to Seek Blessings for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025.

In a spiritual gesture to seek divine blessings for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) organized a Pratham Pujan ceremony at Tawi Arti Sthal, Warehouse Side, along the scenic Tawi Riverfront on the auspicious occasion of Jyeshtha Purnima.
The event began with Rudrabhishek and Havan Yagya, culminating in Purnahuti. Leading the religious rituals were Shri Rajesh Gupta, President of VHP J&K and Ladakh, and Smt. Ritika Gupta, Chairperson of the Raghunath Ji Corridor Vikas Council.
Several dignitaries graced the occasion, including Brahmkumari Sudarshan Didi ji, VHP leaders, BJP representatives, and members from the Raghunath Ji Corridor team. Shri Devansh Yadav IAS, CEO Jammu Smart City Ltd. and Commissioner JMC, attended as Chief Guest, applauding the collective spirit and community dedication behind the event.
Shri Rajesh Gupta emphasized the importance of performing such rituals in Jammu to spiritually anchor the pilgrimage season that includes visits to Amarnath Ji, Buda Amarnath Ji, Shiv Khori, and Sudh Mahadev. He highlighted how Jammu plays a critical role in the spiritual and logistical framework of these pilgrimages.
Special arrangements, including Prasad Langar and public amenities, were overseen by Rajan Gupta (Prant Sewa Parmukh) and Veenu Kumar (Bajrang Dal). The event witnessed wide participation from citizens, religious groups, and volunteers.
Shri Shakti Dutt Sharma, VHP State Vice President, thanked the attendees and noted that over 4 lakh pilgrims have already registered for the Yatra. He encouraged more devotees to join, assuring them of full community support throughout the pilgrimage.
The Pratham Pujan not only honored tradition but also set a hopeful tone for a peaceful, safe, and spiritually fulfilling Yatra season in 2025.
