Sajad Lone Visits GMC Handwara, Prays for Injured Students and Grieves Over Loss of Lives
Srinagar, April 12, 2025:
Handwara MLA and Peoples Conference President Sajad Gani Lone visited GMC Handwara on Saturday to inquire about the condition of students injured in the tragic road accident that took place near Vodhpora, Kupwara.
Lone interacted with doctors, paramedics, and the attending staff, expressing gratitude for their quick and dedicated response.
“I thank the entire medical team at GMC Handwara for their swift response and unwavering commitment in treating the injured students,” Lone said during the visit.
According to hospital sources, all students currently under treatment at GMC Handwara are stable.
However, two students who had been referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment tragically succumbed to their injuries.
Offering his condolences, Lone said:
“May Allah grant the departed souls the highest place in Jannat and give their families the strength to bear this painful loss.”
He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and expressed solidarity with all the families affected by the tragedy.
