Minister for Health and Medical Education, Sakeena Itoo, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic demise of Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri, who lost his life today due to cross-border shelling.
In her condolence message, the Minister remembered Dr. Thapa’s exceptional commitment to public service, particularly highlighting his swift response and compassionate leadership during the Budhal tragedy.
“Dr. Thapa remained active on the ground, updating authorities even during the night to ensure relief for affected citizens. His humane approach during Budhal left a lasting impact on everyone,” Sakeena Itoo said.
She described him as a symbol of sincerity and responsibility, noting that his untimely death is a significant loss not just to the administration but to the entire community he served with dedication.
