
SBI RSETI Ramban Awards Certificates to Trainees of Vegetable Cultivation Program
RAMBAN, MAY 17, 2025:
In a bid to promote self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods in rural areas, the State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI) Ramban, in collaboration with the Block Development Office, distributed certificates to successful trainees of the Vegetable Cultivation Training Programme under the UNNATI scheme at Halla.
The training program was organized under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Development, Srinath Suman, with the objective of equipping local youth and farmers with practical agricultural skills that enhance income generation and employment opportunities.
The Branch Manager of J&K Bank Halla, Kuljeet Singh, graced the certificate distribution ceremony as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he congratulated the trainees on completing the course and emphasized the importance of skill-based training in transforming rural economies. He also encouraged the participants to use their new knowledge to launch or expand their agricultural ventures.
S. Harvinder Singh, Director of SBI RSETI Ramban, also addressed the event, commending the trainees for their dedication and successful evaluation. He reiterated the institute’s mission to foster rural entrepreneurship through free, high-quality training in agriculture, small-scale enterprises, and other allied sectors.
The program drew active participation from local citizens and community leaders who appreciated the positive impact of such grassroots initiatives. The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to SBI RSETI for empowering them with practical knowledge and tools for self-employment.
