Srinagar, June 17, 2025: In preparation for Muharram, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Kashmir, in collaboration with the All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA), organized a comprehensive training camp at Imam Bargah Zadibal. Led by AJKSA President Molvi Imran Reza Ansari, the session brought together Molvis and volunteers from across the Valley for hands-on training in first aid, basic fire safety protocols, and crowd management techniques. The initiative aims to place at least one trained responder in every madrassa to promote grassroots disaster readiness. This camp is part of a larger preparedness campaign launched weeks in advance by AJKSA, which includes coordination with NGOs and sabeelgah organizers. The training reflects the growing focus on safety and community empowerment during high-density religious events. Molvi Imran Ansari thanked SDRF Director Imtiyaz Mir and his team for their support and technical expertise in making the camp a success.
