Shaheed Shujaat Bukhari Remembered on His Seventh Death Anniversary in Kreeri.
Kreeri, June 14 (RNA): Veteran journalist and founder of Rising Kashmir, Dr. Syed Shujaat Bukhari, was remembered today on his seventh death anniversary. He was tragically killed on June 14, 2018, along with his two security guards outside his office at Press Enclave, Srinagar. To honor his memory, special prayers were held at his ancestral graveyard in Kreeri, Baramulla. The event witnessed the participation of hundreds of mourners including family, friends, and well-wishers. Among those present were his brother Syed Basharat Bukhari, Adbi Markaz Kamraz President Mohammad Amin Bhat, Principal HR Sec School Sopore Mushtaq Sopori, Syed Farooq Bukhari, Syed Abdul Majeed, and Syed Nasir—all united in paying heartfelt tribute to the late journalist and his contributions to Kashmir’s media landscape.
