In a key administrative move, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday appointed Shaleen Kabra (IAS), Financial Commissioner, as the official spokesperson of the Union Territory (UT).

The appointment is aimed at streamlining official communication and ensuring timely dissemination of verified information regarding government actions, policies, and developments across the region. As the UT’s spokesperson, Shaleen Kabra will now be the primary point of contact for all government-related briefings, press releases, and public statements.
