Tariq Hameed Karra Chairs Key Congress Meeting to Prepare for “Samvidhan Bachao” Rallies and Jai Hind Yatra
JAMMU, MAY 16:
JKPCC President Shri Tariq Hameed Karra presided over an important preparatory meeting at the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) headquarters in Jammu to strategize and finalize arrangements for the upcoming “Samvidhan Bachao” rallies and the “Jai Hind Yatra & Sabha” across the region.
Though not officially mandated by the AICC Circular, the participation in the programme is being taken forward voluntarily by senior Congress leaders and grassroots workers, showcasing strong internal motivation and commitment to democratic values.
The meeting was attended by prominent leaders including WP Raman Bhalla, AICC Secretary Neeraj Kundan, Mula Ram, Ch Lal Singh, Balwan Singh, Th. Balbir Singh, Dr Manmohan Lal Sharma, Yashpal Kundal, Ved Mahajan (In-Charge), Indu Pawar, Dina Nath Bhagat, Kanta Andotra, TS Tony, and other senior Congress members.
A special tribute was paid during the session to honor the brave Army personnel and civilians who lost their lives in recent Pakistani shelling incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. Leaders and attendees observed a two-minute silence in solemn remembrance of the martyrs.
The proposed rallies aim to engage Army veterans, ex-servicemen, and citizens to recognize and salute the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of India’s armed forces while promoting constitutional values and unity.
